Workout Videos With Craig Ballantyne
In this post I want to show you some examples of workout videos done by Craig Ballantyne, one of the authors of the 24/7 Fat Loss plan. I believe that you can learn a lot about the sort of guy Craig is, what his fitness philosophy is, and what you can expect to find in the 24/7 Fat Loss workouts themselves, once you get the program and start using it.
Craig has a lot of videos online, so I tried to find some that provide you with some actionable workouts that you can begin doing even before the program comes out in a few weeks.
The first video shows a Metabolic Resistance Training workout. This is the sort of workouts that you will find in the program and they’re there for a reason: they help you to burn off a lot of body fat quickly. In addition, they also allow you to do short workouts so you don’t need to spend too much time in the gym in order to get these done.

In the second video I found, Craig talks about how to do advanced interval training for fat loss. What I like about this video the most is how Craig debunks the whole idea that you need to train in a certain heart rate range to burn off lots of fat. This is totally bogus and I’m shocked that people still believe this myth. What you need to do are hard workouts that push your body and not just allow you to “waltz” around in a medium heart rate that hardly tickles your fat stores.
Interval training is a great way to do shorter workouts and to burn off lots of body fat much faster. You will find that you can do very short, but very effective workouts this way. Here’s the video
For the third video I found one which is totally about bodyweight exercises, one more field in which Craig excels. You can burn off a lot of body fat without using any weights at all, just by knowing which exercises to do and how to do them properly, in the right order.
I believe that this video shows you some great examples of what can be done with bodyweight training.

24/7 Fat Loss Eating Tips For Optimal Fat Loss
Joel Marion and Craig Ballantyne don’t provide empty promises of a big fat loss without any effort on your part. You need to put in a lot of work in order to see the results that the 24/7 Fat Loss plan provides.
However, doing the workouts is not enough to burn fat around the clock, all the time at a rapid pace. You also need to maintain a proper diet and follow healthy eating habits. A lot of people disregard their diet because they feel that their workouts are burning off so many calories that it’s enough to get rid of all their excess body fat. This isn’t so. It’s very hard – nearly impossible – to burn fat with a bad diet.
This is why I want to give you some eating tips that should help you make the most out of your 24/7 fat loss workouts. Follow these and you will burn a lot more fat in a much shorter time.
Let me say this plainly: you cannot get ripped while eating badly. You can’t get chiseled, six pack abs, without taking care of your diet. You will never achieve optimal fat loss without a proper diet. This is what it takes.
To help you do just that, I’ve compiled a list of a number of ultra-important diet tips to help you eat in the right way to preserve your health and to lose body fat very quickly and easily:
1. Don’t give up on fat – While you’re trying to lose body fat, it doesn’t mean that all fat is evil and needs to be avoided. In fact, fat is one of the main nutrients which your body needs to be healthy. If you cut your fat intake too low, you will cause your body harm. You need to choose your fat sources carefully. Avoid trans fat completely as it is very unhealthy and difficult to burn off. Do eat avocados, nuts, olive oil, and coconut oil as these provide healthy fats which your body uses. These shouldn’t make you fat. They will actually be good for your long term fat loss results.
2. Drink enough water – I’m talking about drinking more than 8 glasses each day. You will need to drink even when you’re not thirsty to make sure you’re getting enough in. A lot of people don’t drink enough. If you want to burn fat, you can’t be one of them. I should note that drinking water is super important during your workouts. When doing 24-7 fat loss workouts, you will sweat quite a bit. You have to keep yourself hydrated.
3. Eat lots of vegetables and fruit – These provide you with a host of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and are excellent snacks to take in between meals. You need to get a wide range of fruit and veggies to make sure you get all the different vitamins that they offer.
4. Eat lots of lean and quality protein – Protein helps to build muscle which boosts your metabolism and gets you to burn fat faster. You need to make sure that you’re eating enough protein to build muscle. The other foundation of muscle building: workouts, is already taken care of by the exercises in the 24/7 Fat loss plan.
5. Eat lots of small meals – To make sure that you’re getting enough calories without ever stuffing yourself, I recommend to eat a lot of small meals each day. Don’t settle for 3 meals. Eat a lot of snacks and never feel stuffed. You will have more energy, less cravings, and feel better.

Is 24/7 Fat Loss For You?
The most important question you should ask yourself is whether or not the 24/7 Fat Loss plan is really for you. I have no doubt that Joel Marion and Craig Ballantyne deliver a fantastic plan which does indeed work. However, it may not be specifically right for you. I want to make sure that it is.
So, let’s see what you need to be able to do in order to use this program in the best way possible:
1. You need to be healthy – There’s no point in trying to do this program unless you’re healthy and able to workout. You need to be able to do intense workouts on a regular basis. Make sure that you’re healthy enough for that.
2. You need to be willing to train – I’m not talking about just going to the gym and passing the time away. I’m talking about doing some hard workouts, maybe harder and more efficient than you are used to. This is the only way to achieve the kind of fat loss that we’re talking about here. The only way. So, be ready to put in a lot of work or there is no point in you even trying out this program.
3. You need to have the time – Craig Ballantyne is not the kind of trainer who believes in long and tedious workouts. In fact, his work is mostly made up of short workouts with an emphasis on intensity. Therefore, you won’t need a lot of free time to take part in this program. However, you still need to do 3 workouts a week at least, each of which is 45 minutes long. So, make sure you have the time.
4. Do you really want it – 24/7 Fat Loss is not the easiest program in the world. I have no doubt that you will see awesome results with it, but you have to really want it in order to succeed. Therefore, I need you to really want to change your body. You need to be motivated. If you are, then you should be able to do this program and succeed with it.

24/7 Fat Loss Workout Routine To Get Ripped
To turn your body into a lean, ripped physique, you need to do the right kind of workouts. You can’t just settle for going to the gym. This isn’t enough to really melt away the stubborn fat and leave you looking totally fit.
In this article I will share with you an intense and effective 24/7 Fat Loss workout that will get the fat to simply slide off you.
But first, here are some principles of this intense workouts:
1. You’re going to be working hard during each workout. There is no such thing as a mediocre workout. Every moment in the gym must be used to actually train. Do not waste your time.
2. You will lift heavy – You want the fat to evaporate? You need to lift heavy weights. Smaller weights can be used for toning, but you need to place some strain on yourself which is why heavy weights are a must.
2. You will need to train regularly. 3 – 4 workouts each week is a good enough frequency. Some people do 5 workouts, but if you train hard enough, this may not be necessary.
4. You don’t have to do long and boring cardio. You can do a lot with intense resistance training.
5. You will need to train your entire body. You can’t just work on your abs if this is where you want to lose body fat.
6. You will need to use circuits to make the most out of your workouts. You need to employ hard exercises and do them one after the other. You don’t rest between sets, only between your circuits themselves.
Here is an example of a 24/7 Fat Loss Circuit (this isn’t official, but something I created for you):
1. 50 Jumping jacks – to get a bit warmed up.
2. 30 burpees.
3. 30 Bodyweight squats
4. 20 Lunge jumps.
5. Spider push ups.
6. Pull ups or DB back rows.
7. Side plank – work both sides.
All these 7 exercises need to be done back-to-back. You can’t rest in the middle or it will reduce the effect of the workout. You need to repeat this circuit 4 times during each workout to make it really effective. If you’re not fit enough at the moment, do less circuits. If you’re capable, do more. It’s up to you to tweak this circuit to fit your current ability.
This kind of workout will boost your metabolism, burn lots and lots of calories and help you get ripped quickly.
Finally, remember that your diet is also an important part of your success. Make sure to eat lean and nutritious food. I will get back soon with some diet tips for you.
24/7 Fat Loss Is Announced
I have to admit that I admire a number of fitness and fat loss experts and follow them closely. Two of those experts are Craig Ballantyne and Joel Marion. I’ve been following the two of them for a number of years now.
I recently read an email that announced that Joel and Craig have decided to do a program together. It is going to be called 24/7 Fat Loss and it’s due to be released soon. I have no doubt that when these two fat burning “gurus” cooperate, that this is going to be a wildly effective program.
However, this program will not be right for just everyone. In fact, I’m pretty sure that you will need to be ready to do some very intensive workouts to make the most out of this plan. I am planning to write a detailed review about this program when I learn more about it.
Until that time comes, I think I will share some tips and tricks and methods on what it really takes to get an around-the-clock fat loss.
